Who wouldn’t delight in a tumbler of expertly-crafted biodynamic gin, garnished with a sliver of organic citrus? Hastings Distillers is an award-winning urban distillery and French-inspired tasting room in Hastings. Founders Kate Galloway and David Ramonteu aimed to to tell their story without relying on social media and engaged Contentment to help. So far, they’ve been featured on One News (causing them to sell out of gin within four minutes), in Kia Ora, NZ Lifestyle Block, on Stuff.co.nz and Neat Places, and in a range of global travel publications. They say online sales have jumped 2000% as a result of targeted exposure to a thirsty audience.

JUNO KiwiSaver Scheme

Public relations and content development

JUNO is a new KiwiSaver provider disrupting the market by offering zero-fee investment for under-18s, and great low fees for everyone else. We worked with the co-founders on developing a brand voice and a PR plan for launch that engaged wide audiences across multiple platforms - for instance, Seven Sharp, online (Idealog, Stuff.co.nz), on radio, and on social using influencer Jess Quinn.

Karitane Nurses and Nannies

The Karitane name is known and loved by thousands of Kiwis - but with Karitane-trained nurses in danger of extinction, it was time to implement a campaign to bring more nurses out of the woodwork, and begin a discussion around the feasibility of using their talents to educate a new generation of Karitanes. Coverage included a story on Seven Sharp, and interviews on Newstalk ZB, on Stuff.co.nz and with New Zealand Woman’s Weekly.
